A mother, enthusiastic about weddings, fashion and unique details, but above all a woman who believes that elegance and good taste do not mean having to pretend to be perfect 24 hours a day.
"Me encanta Poète porque sus prendas son superfemeninas y versátiles"
¿Cómo te definirias?
Creativa, inquieta, alegre y con un punto de locura.
How did you get into your professional career?
Believe in yourself and commit to what you want, even if it seems crazy at first or if the easiest or safest way is different. As Steve Jobs used to say that the only way to do a great job and be happy was to love what you do.
Is there anything about the Poète label with which you can identify?
Certainly! I love Poète because the clothes are super feminine and versatile: I always find something perfect for any occasion, whether it's a business meeting, a dinner with friends or as a wedding guest.
¿Con que tipo de looks te sientes más cómoda?
I love feminine and comfortable looks that mix basic garments and more daring items; those that allow you to play with accessories and transform yourself effortlessly. For example, the combination of skinny jeans and a blouse with a pair of sneakers, a shopper bag and a ponytail is ideal for everyday life and when evening comes, all you need is a pair of heels, red lipstick and let your hair down to go to dinner and still look perfect.
How do you think social media has affected the fashion world?
Social networks have revolutionised the world in general, not just the world of fashion. There is an endless offer, any brand in the world is just a click away, trends have become global and I find it fascinating that now any ordinary girl can become a world style icon like Lovely Pepa or Sincerely Jules, for example.
How did your Instagram following start?
Actually, it was quite a surprise... For me, it all started as a hobby. I always dedicated a lot of love and work but the truth is that I didn’t expect to get where I am today (and I hope this is just the beginning). I think the key is to keep it natural and down-to-earth. However, I'm also aware that I've been very lucky, of course.
Who's your style icon?
I love Nieves Alvarez, Olivia Palermo and Sassa de Osma. For me, those three names are synonymous with elegance and femininity.
How do you manage to reconcile your work with your personal life?
Sometimes reconciling a job where every day is different, you travel a lot and there are no clear schedules is a bit crazy, especially with two small children, but the truth is that my parents help me (if not I would go crazy) and my partner also, whenever his job allows. I always say that, in the end, this project is for all of us and, the truth is that I’ve never been alone. Ah! And I think I also have to be grateful to coffee, which is with me on so many long nights sitting at the computer... It's worth sacrificing hours of sleep if I can spend my evenings with my family.
