"I see Poète as an extremely feminine label of clothing and I love that"

How did your career as a photographer begin?
I’ve always had a camera since I was a child; I loved the waiting when the film was being developed to see what came out. But the truth is that working at this didn’t seem at all plausible at the time to me. I studied law and marketing, clearly the wrong studies. I even spent 7 years in a bank! In the end, I gave up everything and changed my life radically to do what I had always really liked doing, photography.
What's the best professional advice anybody has ever given you?
To feel free, and to do what really makes me feel fulfilled.

Is there anything about the Poète label with which you can identify? What do you like most?
I see Poète as an extremely feminine label of clothing and I love that. I also find it versatile, I like to invest in clothes and then be able to wear them every day or for special occasions, the Coral dress, for example, looks great with sneakers and heels!
¿Con qué tipo de looks te sientes más cómoda?
I love long dresses; for me, they are basic and I always have several in my wardrobe. However, you can't go wrong with a shirt and jeans.

How do you think social media has affected the fashion world?
I think social networks have very positive aspects, but also some negative aspects. They bring the labels closer to customers, everything is much more direct, it becomes much more personal. If you like something, you can get in touch with that label yourself. It's also highly inspirational. I sometimes get a little anxious, haha, I love fashion and I always see something I like and want to have.
How did your Instagram following start?
I don't remember the exact moment, but ig was very important to me. At the end of the day, my “products” are my pictures and what better way to showcase them than.

Do you like to follow trends or go your own way?
I love trends, I have a lot of fun with them. But I love to go my own way, sometimes that's complicated because if something isn't in fashion, you can't find it! But I try hard and I succeed! Who's your style icon? Your ideal labels or designers?
Who's your style icon? Your ideal labels or designers?
I'm passionate about American Vintage, they're basic and I never get tired of them. And Ganni, very special. I try to get something of theirs every season.
How do you manage to reconcile your work with your personal life?
There was a time when I had no personal life... but that can't go on forever. It's not mentally or physically healthy. It’s taken me a long time to learn how to handle this and although I don't think I ever get away from it completely, I value my free time as if it were gold.
